Shipping and Delivery


New Zealand Shipping
Shipping is a flat rate of $10 on all orders within NZ.  We use an overnight delivery service which applies to most Metro areas.  Anything classed as rural can take a few days longer.  
Australia Shipping
Shipping is a flat rate of $33.00NZD within Australia.  Most deliveries should be between 5-8 days.
Modern Love Cashmere bears no responsibility for import duties, charges or taxes accrued at the recipient's end.  Such charges can differ based on each country's customs regulations; please consult your local customs authority before making a purchase.
Declining payment for requested fees will lead to the return of your order, and a $150 NZD refund will be subtracted from your order to account for the refusal fee and return shipping cost.   
United States
Shipping to the US is a flat fee of $60 NZD per package.
Courier delivery timeframes will be approximately 2-3 weeks, depending on your country.

Other International Shipping
Shipping to other international destinations is a flat fee of $85.00NZD per package. Courier delivery timeframes will be approximately 2-3 weeks, depending on your country.

Delivery Address

All items are sent 'signature required'.  Please provide a delivery address where you will be able to accept delivery or that is safe and secure i.e. a work address if not going to be home. We cannot be held liable for any items that are lost, stolen or misplaced, if no signature required.   Please note we are unable to redirect items once they have dispatched.


Delivery Timeframe
For most Metro areas within New Zealand, you will receive your order overnight from the day of dispatch.  You will receive a notification when dispatched.  Other areas i.e. RD etc. may take 1-3 days from date of dispatch. We cannot guarantee this timeframe as unexpected delays can occur and should be used as a general guideline. Rural and non-urban deliveries can take an additional 24-48 hours.
Offshore deliveries can take 1-4 weeks depending on country.
We cannot be responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen items.

Item Availability
If, on the rare occasion, a sold-out piece of knitwear is purchased, you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and offered a replacement or full refund, whichever you prefer.

Returns and Refunds
We want our special cashmere pieces to spark joy, both immediately, and for years to come, so include as much information for you to make an informed purchase with peace of mind. This includes individual garment measurements.
On the offchance something doesn’t quite fit the way it should, we offer a full refund policy.
We will gladly accept the unworn, undamaged item back within 14 business days of date of your purchase being received by you.
No makeup, perfume, damage or washing can occur for this to be valid. Please take care when trying garments on not to snag them on jewellery etc. And if possible, place a scarf over your head when taking it on/off to avoid makeup marks.
This does not apply to sale items, all sale purchases are final and cannot be returned, so please feel free to ask any questions you have prior to purchase.  We are always happy to assist.

Please email us at 'info@modernlovecashmere' to advise of your intention to return, pursuant to conditions above and below. (Please note all communication must be in English).

Shipping charges to return the garment will be at the cost of the customer. Please use a tracking system as any garments not received back cannot qualify for a refund.  The garment must be in the condition specified above, no exclusions.
We will email you once the return has been processed in our system and your original method of payment will be credited by your bank, within 5-10 days of this. 

Exchanges
Unfortunately, we cannot offer exchanges categorically due to the exclusive and, often, limited edition nature of our garments. Should you wish to exchange for a different size please email 'info@modernlovecashmere.co.nz' and we endeavour to do so, if at all possible.  Or you can return any item for a full refund and go on to shop for another beautiful piece.

Sale items
If any items are offered at a discounted rate, these do not qualify for a refund, any purchase is final.

Faulty item
All garments sent out are quality controlled. If, for any reason, you receive an item that has a manufacturing fault, we will gladly replace it (if item is available) or refund it, as long as the garment is received back to us within 10 days of receiving it. Please email us immediately if this occurs and we will issue a prepaid courier bag for you.
Please note; any normal wear and tear or harm caused by jewellery etc. will not be considered a manufacturing flaw. It must be in the condition required for any returns to qualify. Please see cashmere care to avoid this. Thank you.
